Liz works with each client to develop a unique treatment plan based on individual needs. Bodywork sessions incorporate the use of a variety of massage techniques.

Bodywork Modalities:
Swedish Massage uses long, smooth strokes to stimulate blood and lymph circulation, encouraging the removal of toxins from your body. Ranging from light to deep pressure it is used for relaxation, to improve range of motion and to relieve muscle tension and stress.

Myofascial Release helps to relieve the discomfort that comes from restricted fascia in the body. Fascia is the soft connective tissue that surrounds your muscles and organs and helps to keep them in place. It provides lots of support to your body, but can sometimes tighten and become restricted as a result of overuse, trauma, inactivity or infection – leaving you with unpleasant aches and pains that can make life difficult.

Deep Tissue Massage releases chronic patterns of tension in your body using deep finger, forearm and/or elbow pressure on contracted areas. It can also improve and accelerate injury rehabilitation and reduce inflammation-related pain such as tendonitis.

Trigger Point Massage is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release. A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. The pain may be sharp and intense or dull and achey. Through supportive pressure, constricted areas in the muscles are released and pain is alleviated.

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a holistic healing practice that balances the nervous system through feeling and observing the cranial rhythm and the pulse of cerebral spinal fluid. Imbalances or disruptions in healthy cerebral spinal function can occur as a result of various forms of illnesses and physical or emotional trauma.  Through a highly relaxing, gentle touch approach, changes are made in the cerebral spinal flow, relieving tension, blockages and disruption in the nervous system.

Reiki is a form of therapy that uses simple hands-on, no-touch, and visualization techniques, with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in a person. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means “universal life energy” in Japanese, and Reiki practitioners are trained to detect and alleviate problems of energy flow on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

Silicone Cupping is a modality for increasing circulation, releasing & restoring fascial connective tissue, reducing inflammation, activating lymphatic drainage and improving mobility & flexibility.

Therapeutic Stretching may occur during your bodywork session or be suggested as support for ongoing care. Stretches are used to increase range of motion, to strengthen weak areas, and to provide postural support.

Essential Oils:

l3-smallEssential oils are extracts from plants that are highly concentrated. They can be used aromatically, topically or internally. While they have similar health benefits as synthetic drugs, they have no side effects. They are composed of tiny molecules that are easily dissolved, allowing them to penetrate the skin easily and work in the body by mixing with fatty tissue.

When inhaled, the essences enter the body via millions of sensitive cells that line the nasal passages, sending messages straight to the brain. Due to their ability to penetrate cell membranes essential oils are can also kill viruses and bacteria.

Essential oils affect the limbic system/emotional brain directly.

Liz uses doTERRA certified pure therapeutic grade oils because they are grown and harvested with practices that ensure the highest quality and level of therapeutic benefit. They are free of fillers, do not have artificial ingredients, and provide powerful healing on
multiple levels.

An aromatherapy treatment while soothing and pleasurable, deeply enhances one’s physical and psychological well-being.
